To make this bbq pasta, I started by cooking some spaghetti noodles according to the directions on the package.
Then I drained the noodles and set them aside.
While the spaghetti was cooking, I chopped up some bacon slices.
Then I added the chopped bacon to a large oven safe skillet over medium-high heat.
I cooked the bacon until it was browned and crispy.
Then I used a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked bacon to dish lined with paper towel.
I added some lean ground beef to the skillet with the bacon grease.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
I cooked the ground beef until no pink remained.
Then I drained all of the grease from the pan.
I reduced the heat to medium-low.
I added some diced yellow onions to the pan.
I also added some garlic puree to the pan.
I stirred well and allowed the onions to cook for a few minutes.
Then I added some tomato sauce and bbq sauce to the pan.
I stirred well.
Then I added some salt and pepper.
I stirred well again.
I added a drained can of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies to the pan.
I also added half of the cooked bacon pieces to the pan.
I stirred well.
Then I added the cooked spaghetti to the pan.
I stirred until all of the spaghetti was coated in the sauce mixture.
Then I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the spaghetti.
I sprinkled the remaining cooked bacon on top of the cheese.
Then I placed the skillet under the broiler for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
I removed the skillet from the oven and sprinkled some chopped green onions on top.
Then the beef and bacon pasta was ready to serve.
