To make this chocolate chip bread pudding, I starting by cutting loaf of brioche bread into 1/2 inch cubes.
Then I sprinkled half of the cubes into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
I sprinkled some semi sweet and milk chocolate chips on top of the bread in the baking dish.
Then I sprinkled the remaining cubes of brioche on top of the chocolate chips.
I sprinkled some more semi sweet and milk chocolate chips on top of the bread.
Then I cracked some eggs into a large mixing bowl.
I added some milk and heavy cream to the bowl.
I also added some granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl.
I whisked all of the ingredients together well.
Then I poured the mixture over the bread in the baking dish.
I used a rubber spatula to gently push the bread cubes down into the liquid.
Then I covered the dish with plastic wrap and placed it in the refrigerator.
I left the dish to chill for thirty minutes.
After thirty minutes, I uncovered the baking dish and placed it in the oven at 350F.
I baked the bread pudding until the bread was lightly browned on top.
Then I removed the pan from the oven and left the bread pudding to cool slightly.
Once the bread pudding was slightly cooled but still warm, I sliced and served it.
This bread pudding is delicious by itself but can also be served with ice cream.
