To make these chocolate chip pudding cookies, I started by dumping some softened butter into a large mixing bowl.

I added some brown sugar and granulated sugar to the bowl.

Then I added some vanilla instant pudding mix, eggs and vanilla extract.

I used an electric mixer to cream all of the ingredients together until smooth.

Then I added some all purpose flour, salt and baking soda to the bowl.

I continued mixing with the electric mixer until a sticky dough formed.

Then I added some semi sweet chocolate chips to the bowl.

I stirred the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.

Then I scooped the cookie dough with a 2 tbsp scoop and rolled the dough into balls.

I placed the cookie dough balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet leaving about 2 inches between them.

Then I placed the cookie sheet in the oven and baked the cookies for 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes I removed the baking sheet from the oven and left the cookies to cool on the pan.

Once the cookies had cooled they were ready to serve.

  8. Stir the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
  9. Scoop the dough 2 tablespoons at a time and roll it into balls.
  10. Place the cookie dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet leaving 2 inches between them.
  11. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies for 8 minutes.
  12. Remove the baking sheet after 8 minutes, the cookies will not look completely cooked.
  13. Leave the cookies to cool on the baking sheet.

Have not made because I have a question. You say to leave them on the cookie sheet to cool. My confusion is won’t the heat from the sheet continue to cook them? And, if that is correct, either I need 6 cookie sheet pans to bake 36-40 cookies? Excuse my ignorance so plan help me out. They look so easy and delish, thanks.
