To make this soup, I started by dumping some lean ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
I sprayed the inside of my crock pot well with cooking spray.
Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I used a slotted spoon to transfer it to the crock pot.
Then I added some diced onions to the crock pot.
I also added some frozen diced hash brown potatoes to the pot.
I dumped a can of cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese soup into a large mixing bowl.
I also added some chicken broth to the bowl.
I added some garlic powder, onion powder and pepper to the bowl.
I whisked all of the ingredients together well.
Then I poured the mixture over the ingredients in the crock pot.
I placed the lid on the crock pot and set it to cook on HIGH.
After 3.5 hours of cooking time I removed the lid from the crock pot.
I stirred the contents well.
Then I added some heavy cream to the pot.
I also added some shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the pot.
I stirred well and then returned the lid to the pot.
I left the soup to continue cooking for 30 minutes.
I added some chopped green onions and additional shredded cheese to the soup right before serving.
