This easy peanut butter chocolate bark would be the perfect dessert to serve at Christmas.

I love dessert recipes that combine salty and sweet ingredients and felt like corn chips and peanut butter cups would be an interesting flavour match up.

To make this chocolate bark I melted some milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave and then added some Fritos corn chips to the chocolate.

I stirred the corn chips and chocolate until all of the chips were completely coated in chocolate.

I poured the mixture out onto a 15 x 10 inch baking sheet lined with parchment paper and then pressed it out evenly to cover the entire pan.

While pressing the mixture down with the rubber spatula I was breaking the chips into smaller pieces making it easier to spread them out.

Fritos Peanut Butter Cup Bark is an easy chocolate bark recipe that combines salty and sweet.

When I was down spreading out the chocolate and corn chips I took some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups that I had chopped up into small pieces and sprinkled them on top.

I pressed down lightly on the Peanut Butter Cup pieces so that they would stick to the bark.

I placed the baking sheet in the fridge and left the bark to chill for about an hour until the chocolate had hardened completely.

Then I removed the bark from the fridge and broke it into pieces.

I love the crunch of the chips mixed with the smoothness of the chocolate.

The saltiness from the Fritos stops the richness of the chocolate from being overwhelming.
