To make this lazy lasagna, I started by dumping some lean ground beef, diced onions, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
I poured some marinara sauce into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
I placed some frozen ravioli in a single layer on top of the marinara sauce.
I spooned the cooked ground beef over the ravioli.
I spooned more marinara over the ground beef.
I placed more frozen ravioli in a single layer on top.
I spooned more marinara over the ravioli.
I sprinkled shredded mozzarella on top.
I sprinkled Italian seasoning over the mozzarella.
I placed the dish in the oven and baked the lasagna until the sauce and cheese were bubbly.

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt

- 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- Preheat the oven to 400° F.
- Cook the lean ground beef, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 7-9 minutes or until cooked through. (If you do not have lean ground beef, cook the beef and onion first. Drain off any excess fat. Then add in your seasonings.).
- In a 9×13 baking dish add ¾ cup of marinara sauce to the bottom.
- Layer half of the ravioli on top of the marinara sauce.
- Cover the ravioli with the ground beef mixture.
- Cover the ground with more marinara sauce. (reserve ¾ cup of the marinara)
- Layer the remainder of the ravioli.
- Cover the ravioli with the remainder (¾ cup) of marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until slightly brown and the sauce and cheese are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven. Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 – 15 minutes before serving.
