To make this dump cake, I started by placing some Oreo cookies in a single layer in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Then I poured some sweetened condensed milk on top of the Oreos.
I spooned some fluffy white frosting on top and spread it out as evenly as possible.
Then I poured a box of devils food chocolate cake mix on top of the frosting.
I sliced some butter into small chunks and placed the chunks on top of the cake mix.
Then I placed the dish in the oven and baked the cake for 40 minutes.
I removed the cake from the oven and placed some Hershey’s cookies and cream chocolate bar pieces on top.
I left the cake to cool for an hour before serving.
After an hour of cooling the cake was still warm but not too hot.
I scooped and served the cake while it was still warm.
The bottom layer of the cake is a gooey mixture of chocolate and the sweetened condensed milk.
This Oreo dump cake is best served warm as when it’s cold it will be harder and not have the nice gooey layer at the bottom.
If you are serving the cake after it’s completely cooled off, you should reheat it in the microwave.
