To make these bread machine dinner rolls, I started by pouring some warm water into my bread machine pan.
I added some softened butter to the pan.
I also added some salt, a lightly beaten egg and some granulated sugar to the pan.
Then I added some all purpose flour.
I added some bread machine yeast on top of the flour making sure it did not touch any of the other ingredients.
I secured the pan in the bread machine and pressed the dough button.
When the dough cycle was complete, I transferred the dough to the lightly floured counter top.
I cut the dough into three equal pieces.
Then I cut each of those pieces into five pieces for a total of fifteen pieces of dough.
I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with butter flavoured baking spray.
Then I shaped each of the pieces of dough into a ball and placed them in the baking dish, leaving about an each between each dough ball.
Then I sprayed the tops of the dough balls well with the butter flavoured cooking spray.
I covered the dish with plastic wrap.
Then I heated my oven to about 180F and then turned it off.
I placed the dish in the warm oven and left the door open a crack.
I left the dough balls to rise until they had doubled in size.
It took about 45 minutes.
Then I removed the dish from the oven and set it aside while I preheated the oven to 375F.
Once the oven was ready, I removed the plastic wrap from the dish and placed it in the oven.
I baked the buns until they were nicely browned on top.
Then removed the pan from the oven and allowed buns to cool slightly in the pan.
Once the buns had cooled slightly I removed them from the pan and served them while they were still warm.
