To make this green bean casserole, I started by dumping some Campbell’s cheddar cheese soup, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder into a large mixing bowl.

I whisked the ingredients together until smooth.

Then I added some canned cut green beans to the bowl.

I stirred until the green beans were well coated in the soup mixture.

Then I added some shredded Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar and French’s fried onions to the bowl.

I stirred until the ingredients were well combined.

Then I poured the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.

I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole for twenty minutes.

Then I removed the green bean casserole from the oven and sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.

Then I placed some Townhouse Original crackers into a large Ziploc bag.

I used a rolling pin to crush the crackers.

Then I sprinkled the cracker crumbs on top of the cheese.

I sprinkled some French’s fried onions on top of the cracker crumbs.

Then I returned the casserole to the oven just until the topping was starting to brown slightly.

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz Campbell's condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 4 cups canned cut green beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1 cup French's fried onions

Topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 25 Townhouse Light and Buttery Original crackers
  • 1 cup French's fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Dump cheddar cheese soup, milk. salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the drained green beans to the bowl.
  5. Stir until the green beans are well coated with the soup mixture.
  6. Add the Parmesan, shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese and French's fried onions to the bowl. Stir well.
  7. Dump the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  8. Place the casserole in the oven and bake until bubbling. 19-21 minutes.
  9. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Place the Townhouse crackers in a large Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  11. Sprinkle the cracker crumbs on top of the cheese.
  12. Sprinkle the French's fried onions on top of the crackers crumbs.
  13. Return the casserole to the oven and bake until the topping is just starting to brown slightly. 4-5 minutes.
  14. Serve and enjoy!
