To make these sloppy joes, I started dumping a can of Campbell’s condensed cheddar cheese soup into a medium mixing bowl.

I added some ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder and garlic powder to the bowl.

I whisked until the ingredients were fully combined.

Then I set the bowl aside.

I dumped a pound of lean ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.

I added some diced onions to the pan with the ground beef while it was cooking.

I made sure to crumble the ground beef well.

When the ground beef was fully cooked, I drained the excess grease from the pan.

Then I added the sauce mixture to the pan with the ground beef.

I stirred until all of the meat was coated in sauce and then reduced the heat to low.

Then I placed some brioche buns in a single layer on a baking sheet.

I toasted the buns in the oven.

Once the buns were toasted, I removed the pan with the ground beef mixture from the heat and added some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pan.

I stirred until the cheese was melted.

Then I spooned the cheesy ground beef mixture onto the buns.

  1. Preheat oven to 400F for toasting the buns.
  2. Dump the cheddar cheese soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder and garlic powder into a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk until all of the ingredients are fully combined and then set aside.
  4. Dump the ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat along with a dab of margarine or butter.
  5. Add the diced onions to the pan with the ground beef while it’s cooking.
  6. Crumble the ground beef well.
  7. When the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the excess grease from the pan.
  8. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the ground beef.
  9. Stir until all of the meat is coated in sauce and then reduce the heat to low.
  10. Place the buns in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  11. Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the buns for 4-5 minutes.
  12. Once the buns are toasted, remove the pan with the ground beef mixture from the heat and dump in the shredded cheese.
  13. Stir until the cheese is melted.
  14. Spoon the cheesy ground beef mixture onto the toasted buns.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
