To make this pasta, I started by cooking some spaghetti noodles according to the directions on the package.
Once the spaghetti was cooked, I drained it and set it aside.
Then I dumped some lean ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
I added some diced yellow onions to the pan with the ground beef while it was cooking.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I drained the grease from the pan.
Then I added some water and taco seasoning to the pan.
I stirred until all of the ground beef was coated in the taco seasoning.
Then I added some tomato sauce to the pan.
I stirred well.
Then I added some salt and pepper to the pan.
I stirred well again.
I added some drained Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies to the pan.
I stirred the Rotel into the tomato sauce.
Then I added the cooked spaghetti to the pan.
I stirred until all of the spaghetti was coated in sauce.
Then I reduced the heat to low and added some chopped green onions to the pan.
I stirred the green onions into the spaghetti.
I added some shredded Mexican cheese blend to the pan.
I stirred until the cheese was melted.
I sprinkled some more shredded cheese and chopped green onions on top of the spaghetti.
Then the cheesy spaghetti was ready to serve.
This tasty taco spaghetti is a fun twist on traditional spaghetti.
I used mild taco seasoning and mild Rotel in this recipe but if you love spicy food you could use regular to kick up the heat.
