To make this chicken tetrazzini, I started by cooking some spaghetti noodles according to the directions on the package.

Then I drained the noodles.

I  dumped some condensed cream of mushroom soup and condensed cream of chicken into a large mixing bowl.

Then I added some heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to the bowl.

I whisked all of the ingredients together until smooth.

Then I added the cooked spaghetti to the bowl.

I stirred until all of the noodles were coated in the soup mixture.

Then I added some shredded chicken and Parmesan cheese to the bowl.

I stirred well again.

Then I dumped the spaghetti into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.

I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Then I sprinkled some Parmesan cheese and chopped chives on top of the mozzarella.

I covered the dish with aluminum foil and placed it in the oven.

I baked the pasta, covered, for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes I removed the foil and continued baking the pasta until the cheese was completely melted and just starting to brown around the edges of the pan.

I removed the baking dish from the oven and left the pasta to sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make This Chicken Tetrazzini:

  • 10 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  3. Dump the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Whisk all of the ingredients together until smooth.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the bowl.
  6. Stir until all of the noodles are coated with the soup mixture.
  7. Add the shredded chicken and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese to the bowl.
  8. Stir well again.
  9. Dump the spaghetti into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  10. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the spaghetti.
  11. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and the chopped chives on top of the mozzarella.
  12. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
  13. Bake the spaghetti, covered, for 20 minutes.
  14. After 20 minutes remove the foil and continue baking, uncovered, until the cheese is completely melted and starting to brown around the edges. 8-10 minutes.
  15. Remove the dish from the oven and allow the spaghetti to sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
