To make this chicken pasta dish, I started by heating some oil in a large skillet.

I added some minced garlic to the skillet and cooked it for about a minute.

I added some cooked chicken breast strips, sliced bell peppers, sliced red onions and fajita seasoning to the skillet.

I stirred well and brought the liquid to a boil.

Once boiling I added some uncooked penne noodles to the pot.

I stirred well, covered the pot, reduced the heat and left it to simmer until the noodles were tender.

Then I added some shredded pepper jack cheese to the pot.

I stirred until the cheese was melted.

I added some heavy cream to the pot.

I stirred well and sprinkled some chopped cilantro on top.

  • 3 Tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 cups cooked chicken strips
  • 3 cups colored bell peppers, sliced into strips
