To make this cinnamon roll casserole, I started by spraying the inside of my Crock Pot well with cooking spray.
Then I opened two cans of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and sliced each roll into quarters.
I sprinkled the pieces of cinnamon roll dough into the Crock Pot, distributing them as evenly as possible.
I dumped some eggs into a large mixing bowl.
Then I added some heavy cream to the bowl.
I whisked the eggs and cream together well.
Then I added some maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract to the bowl.
I zested and juiced an orange.
Then I added the orange zest and juice to the bowl.
I whisked all of the ingredients together well.
Then I poured the mixture over the cinnamon roll dough in the Crock Pot.
I melted one of the containers of cinnamon roll icing in the microwave.
Then I poured the icing over the cinnamon roll dough in the Crock Pot.
Then I placed the lid on the Crock Pot and set it to cook on low.
I cooked the casserole for 2.5 hours.
Then I removed the lid and drizzled the remaining container of cinnamon roll icing over the casserole.
Then the cinnamon roll casserole was ready to be served.
I scooped and served the casserole immediately.
I served my cinnamon roll casserole with additional maple syrup for topping.

- Whisk the eggs and cream together well.
- Add the maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, orange zest and orange juice to the mixing bowl.
- Whisk all of the ingredients together well.
- Pour the mixture over the cinnamon roll dough in the Crock Pot.
- Heat one of the containers of icing in the microwave on HIGH for 10 seconds.
- Pour the icing over the cinnamon roll dough in the Crock Pot.
- Place the lid on the pot and set to cook on LOW.
- Cook for 2 – 2.5 hours until the cinnamon rolls are nicely browned around the edges of the pot but not burnt.
- Heat the remaining container of icing in the microwave and drizzle the icing over the casserole.
