To make these pizza subs, I started by slicing open four 9 inch sub rolls and placing them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Then I spread pizza sauce on the top and bottom halves of all of the buns.
I sprinkled shredded mozzarella cheese on the top and bottom halves of all of the buns.
I placed pepperoni slices on top of the cheese on the bottom halves of the buns.
Then I placed some sliced green peppers on top of the pepperoni.
I also sprinkled some Italian seasoning over all of subs.
Then I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the subs until the cheese was starting to brown.
I removed the baking sheet from the oven.
Then the cheesy pizza subs were ready to serve.

- 4 x 9 inch sub buns
