To make this taco pasta, I started by cooking some macaroni noodles.
Then I browned some ground beef in a large pot on the stove.
Once the ground beef was cooked I drained all of the excess grease from the pan.
Then I added some corn and black bean salsa, Old El Paso Medium Taco Sauce, salt and pepper to the pot.
I stirred all of the ingredients together.
Then I added the cooked macaroni noodles to the pot and stirred again.
I added some shredded nacho cheese blend and some chopped green onions.
Then I stirred the macaroni until the cheese was melted.
I placed some Old El Paso Tortilla Bowls on a baking sheet.
Then I scooped the taco pasta into the tortilla bowls dividing the pasta evenly between the bowls.
I sprinkled some more shredded nacho cheese on top of the pasta and then placed the baking sheet in the oven.
I baked the pasta bowls until the tortillas were starting to brown.
Then I served the taco pasta with guacamole and sour cream on the side.
This delicious cheesy taco macaroni has a bit of a kick.
You could use mild taco sauce instead of medium if you don’t like spicy food.
This Taco Pasta baked in tortilla bowls is a fun change from traditional Italian pastas.
