To make this party dip I started by dumping some mayo and cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.

I used an electric mixer to cream them together.

Once the mayo and cream cheese mixture was smooth I added some canned chicken flakes to the bowl.

I used a fork to break apart the chicken and combine it with the mayo mixture.

Then I added some real bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions and seasonings to the bowl.

I stirred until everything was fully combined.

Then I refrigerated the chicken salad dip for about two hours before serving to give all the flavours a chance to be absorbed.

  1. Have you ever thought about serving this warm from the oven? So many dips are heated through for more flavor---just an idea.
