To make this casserole, I started by cooking some egg noodles according to the directions on the package.
Then I drained the noodles and set them aside.
While the noodles were cooking, I dumped some condensed cream of chicken soup into a large mixing bowl.
I added some milk and Dijon mustard to the bowl.
Then I added some salt and pepper to the bowl.
I stirred all of the ingredients together well.
Then I added some shredded chicken to the bowl.
I also added some chopped ham to the bowl.
I stirred well.
I added the cooked egg noodles to the bowl.
I stirred all of the ingredients together until well combined.
Then I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
I poured the mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Then I placed some Swiss cheese slices on top.
I placed some cornflakes into a Ziploc bag.
I crushed the cornflakes with a rolling pin.
Then I dumped the crumbled cornflakes into a small bowl.
I added some melted butter to the bowl.
I stirred the cornflakes and butter together well.
I sprinkled the cornflake mixture on top of the casserole.
Then I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole until it was bubbling and the cornflakes on top were nicely browned.
I removed the casserole from the oven and allowed it to sit for a few minutes.
Then the chicken and ham casserole was ready to serve.
