To make these chocolate chip banana muffins, I started by dumping some softened butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into a large mixing bowl.
I used an electric mixer to cream the ingredients together until smooth.
Then I added some ripe bananas to the bowl.
I continued mixing with the electric mixer until no large lumps remained.
Then I added some all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt to the bowl.
I used a rubber spatula to stir until all of the ingredients were fully combined.
Then I added some mini chocolate chips to the bowl.
I continued stirring until all of the chocolate chips were incorporated into the batter.
Then I scooped the batter into greased muffin tins, filling each cup about ⅔ of the way.
I placed the pan in the oven and baked the muffins until a toothpick inserted in the center came up clean.
Then I removed the pan from the oven and left the muffins to cool in the pan for five minutes.
After five minutes I carefully removed the muffins from the pan and transferred them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
The banana muffins are moist and delicious.
