To make these pastries, I started by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and unrolling two tubes of crescent dough.
I dumped some softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon into a mixing bowl.
I mixed all of the ingredients together well.
I spread about one tablespoon of the cinnamon mixture on each of the triangles of crescent dough.
I rolled up the triangles of dough and placed them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the crescent rolls for twelve minutes.
I left the crescent rolls to cool while I prepared the icing.
I dumped some water and powdered sugar into a small mixing bowl.
I stirred the water and sugar together well.
When the crescent rolls were cooled, I drizzled the icing on top of them.

- 2 x Tubes Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
- ½ Cup Butter, unsalted, room temperature
- ½ Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 5 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar

- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.

- Bake in the oven for 12 minutes then remove.
- In another small mixing bowl mix the water and powdered sugar. If you find the icing to be too runny add more sugar. If it’s too stiff, add more water.

Storage Instructions:
- Once the cinnamon crescent rolls have been served and you have some left over store them in an airtight container at room temperature with a piece of paper towel in the container to help with moisture. You can keep them like this for 3 days.
Can I freeze these crescent rolls?
- The crescent rolls will freeze well. Make sure to wrap them well before adding to a freezer bag. If you think you might be freezing them though make sure to keep the icing on the side. Iced they kind of thaw a bit weird.
Can I cook cinnamon rolls in the in the air fryer?
- Yes, you can. Line a basket with parchment paper and preheat to 300°F. Cook for 5 minutes then flip them. Cook another 5 minutes and that should be fine.
