To make this casserole, I started by dumping some canned sweet potatoes into a large mixing bowl.

I added some sugar, egg, butter and heavy whipping cream to the bowl.

I used an electric mixer to cream the ingredients together until smooth.

I added some vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and salt to the bowl.

I stirred well.

I sprayed a 2 quart casserole dish well with cooking spray.

I poured the sweet potato mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.

I dumped some all purpose flour into a small mixing bowl.

I added some chopped pecans, brown sugar and softened butter to the bowl.

I used a fork to combine all of the ingredients well and form a crumble mixture.

I sprinkled the crumble on top of the sweet potato mixture in the casserole dish.

I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole until it was bubbling around the edges.

I removed the dish from the oven and allowed the casserole to sit for a few minutes.

Ingredients are: Sweet potatoes, water, and sugar.
TIPS:
* You can substitute fresh sweet potatoes, just peel and cook them, then proceed with step #2
* You can just mash the sweet potatoes with a hand masher or even a fork instead of the electric mixer.
* Instead of the nut topping, you can leave off, or add marshmallows instead
