To make this cheesy pasta, I started by setting my Instant Pot to Saute Less for 7 minutes.
Then I added a dab of margarine to the pot.
I dumped a pound of lean ground beef into the pot.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
When the Instant Pot turned off, the ground beef was still slightly pink.
I added some water to the pot.
Then I dumped in some cavatappi noodles.
I gently spread out the noodles.
Then I poured in some Heinz chili sauce and some medium chunky salsa.
I also added in a packet of taco seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 3 minutes.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release handle to the venting position and performed a quick release.
Then I removed the lid from the Instant Pot.
I stirred the contents well.
I added some chopped green onions and shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pot.
I stirred well and then the pasta was ready to serve.
