To make this peach crumble, I started by dumping some drained canned peach slices into a large mixing bowl.

I added some brown sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch to the bowl with the peaches.

I stirred until all of the peaches were coated in the brown sugar and cornstarch mixture.

I dumped the peaches into a greased eight inch square baking dish and spread them out evenly.

Then I dumped some all purpose flour, quick oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon into a mixing bowl.

I added some melted butter to the bowl.

I used a fork to stir all of the ingredients together until a crumbly mixture formed.

Then I added some lemon zest, lime zest, lemon juice and lime juice to the bowl.

I stirred the mixture well with the fork again.

Then I sprinkled the crumbly mixture on top of the peaches in the baking dish.

I placed the dish in the oven and baked the dessert until it was bubbling and the crumble mixture was nicely browned.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Peach Crumble:

  • 2 lb 10 oz canned sliced peaches, drained
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Crumble Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

How to Make Peach Crumble:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Dump peach slices into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch to the bowl with the peach slices.
  4. Stir until all of the peach slices are coated with the brown sugar and cornstarch mixture.
  5. Dump the peaches into a greased 8 inch square baking dish and spread them out evenly.
  6. For the topping, dump the flour, quick oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon into a mixing bowl.
  7. Add the melted butter to the bowl.
  8. Use a fork to stir all of the ingredients together until a crumbly mixture forms.
  9. Add the lemon zest, lime zest, lemon juice and lime juice to the bowl.
  10. Stir well with the fork again.
  11. Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top of the peaches in the baking dish.
  12. Place the dish in the oven and bake until it’s bubbling and the crumble topping is nicely browned. 34-38 minutes.
  13. Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before serving.
