This cookie recipe takes about twenty minutes from start to finish and produces 20 cookies.

To make these peanut butter cookies, I started by dumping some smooth peanut butter into a large mixing bowl.

I added some light brown sugar and an egg to the bowl with the peanut butter.

I used an electric mixer to cream all of the ingredients together until smooth.

Then I rolled the cookie dough into balls approximately one inch in diameter.

I placed the cookie dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet leaving about two inches between them.

Then I used a fork to flatten the balls.

I pressed down on the balls a second time at a 90 degree angle to make a criss-cross pattern.

I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the cookies for 7 minutes until they were just slightly browning around the bottom edges.

I removed the pan from the oven and left the cookies to cool on the pan for about 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes I transferred the cookies to wire racks to finish cooling.

Then the chewy peanut butter cookies were ready to serve.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make These 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies:

• 1 cup smooth peanut butter
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 egg, large

How to Make 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies:

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Dump peanut butter, brown sugar and egg into a mixing bowl.
3. Use an electric mixer to cream the ingredients together until smooth.
4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5. Roll the cookie dough into balls of approximately 1 inch in diameter and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
6. Leave 1.5 to 2 inches between the balls.
7. Press down on the cookie dough balls with a fork to flatten them.
8. Press down a second time at a 90 degree angle to make a criss-cross pattern on the cookies.
9. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies until they are just starting to brown slightly around the bottom edges. 6 – 7 minutes.
10. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and leave the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
11. After 5 minutes transfer the cookies to wire racks to finish cooling.
12. Serve and enjoy!
