To make this tortellini Alfredo, I started by pouring three cups of water into my Instant Pot.
Then I added some salt, pepper and onion powder to the pot.
I whisked well to combine the spices with the water.
Then I added some refrigerated three cheese tortellini to the pot and spread it out evenly.
I dumped some garlic puree on top of the tortellini.
Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 2 minutes.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release handle to the venting position and performed a quick release.
Then I removed the lid from the Instant Pot.
I stirred the contents well and then set the Instant Pot to Saute Normal for 7 minutes.
I immediately added some heavy cream to the pot.
I stirred well and left the pasta to continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the Instant Pot turned off.
Then I added some shredded mozzarella and shredded Parmesan to the pot.
I stirred until the cheese was melted.
Then I added some butter to the pot.
I stirred until the butter was melted.
Then the creamy Alfredo pasta was ready to serve.
