To make this dish, I started by chopping two medium sized crowns of broccoli into florets.

I placed the broccoli florets in a mixing bowl.

I lined a sheet pan with parchment paper.

I placed the broccoli on the sheet pan and spread it out into a single layer.

I placed the baking sheet in the oven and roasted the broccoli until it was tender and starting to brown.

I removed the pan from the oven.

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Pour the broccoli florets into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning over the broccoli. Toss until all of the broccoli is coated in olive oil and seasonings.
  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  5. Place the broccoli in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  6. Place the pan in the oven and roast the broccoli until it is tender and starting to brown. 15 – 18 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the broccoli.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
