I continued cooking the sausage and onions until they were nicely browned.

I turned off the heat and drained the grease from the skillet.

Then I removed 1/4 cup of the sausage and onion mixture from the skillet and set it aside.

I turned the heat to medium-low and added some jarred alfredo sauce to the skillet.

I also added some chive and onion cream cheese to the skillet.

I stirred until the cream cheese was fully melted.

I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.

I placed half a bag of frozen 3 cheese pierogies in the bottom of the baking dish.

I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.

Then I placed the remaining frozen pierogies on top of the cheese.

I spooned the remainder of the creamy sausage mixture over the pierogies.

I sprinkled some more shredded cheese on top.

Then I sprinkled the reserved 1/4 cup of cooked sausage and onions over the cheese.

I also sprinkled some chopped green onions on top.

I covered the dish with aluminum foil.

Then I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole covered for thirty-five minutes.

After thirty-five minutes I removed the foil from the dish.

I continued baking the casserole uncovered until the cheese was fully melted and just starting to brown.
