 STEP 1: 

To make this penne alfredo, I started by cooking some penne noodles according to the directions on the package and then draining them.

I dropped some butter into a deep skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the butter was melted I added some garlic puree to the skillet.

I stirred well. 

Then I added some Italian seasoning to the skillet.

Then I added some shredded rotisserie chicken to the skillet.

I stirred until the chicken was all coated in the seasoning.

Then I added some heavy cream to the skillet.

I also added some salt and pepper to the skillet.

I stirred all of the ingredients together well and brought the cream to a boil.

As soon as the cream was boiling, I lowered the heat to medium-low.

I left the dish to simmer, stirring frequently, until the sauce was nice and thick.

Then I add the cooked penne to the skillet.

I stirred until all of the noodles were coated in sauce.

Then I removed the skillet from the heat.

I added some shredded parmesan cheese to the skillet.

  7. Continue cooking the shredded chicken for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add the heavy cream, salt and pepper to the skillet.
  9. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  10. Once the liquid is boiling, immediately reduce the heat to medium-low.
  11. Leave the sauce to simmer, stirring frequently until is has thickened..
  12. Add the cooked penne to the skillet and stir until all of the noodles are coated in sauce.
  13. Remove the skillet from the heat.
  14. Add the shredded parmesan and stir until it's melted.
  15. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
  16. Serve and enjoy!
