These Caramel Golden Oreo Brownies are a super simple and delicious dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. This is a fun way to to take your favourite boxed brownie mix to the next level.
Everyone loves brownies and there are so many ways to change up the recipe. Today I decided to amp up my brownies with some ingredients I already had on hand – Golden Oreos and caramels.
I started by preparing the brownie mix according to the directions on the box. Then I took twelve Golden Oreos and cut them into quarters.
Some of the cookies broke apart while I was cutting them and it really doesn’t matter.
I tossed approximately half of the cut up cookies into the brownie batter and stirred it.
I poured the mixture into an eight inch square pan and then placed sixteen caramels on top of the brownies. I made sure to evenly space out the caramels and press them down slightly into the batter.
Then I sprinkled the remaining Oreo pieces over the brownies and placed them in the oven to bake.
The brownies baked for about 45 minutes until the center was set.
I let the brownies cool for awhile before slicing and serving so that they wouldn’t fall apart.
These brownies are super rich and decadent. You won’t be able to stop eating them. The added sweetness from the caramel and the crunch from the Oreos really take these brownies to the next level.
Try these Caramel Golden Oreo Brownies next time you are in need of an amazing dessert. They are so easy to make and taste delicious.
