To make these sliders, I started by dumping 2 lbs of lean ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.

I added some diced onions to the pan with the ground beef.

I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.

Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I drained the grease from the pan and reduced the heat to low.

I added some salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, yellow mustard and mayo to the pan.

I stirred until all of the ground beef was coated in the seasonings and condiments.

Then I sliced 12 dinner rolls in half.

I placed the bottoms of the rolls on a non stick baking sheet.

I scooped the ground beef mixture onto the rolls and spread it out evenly.

Then I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the ground beef mixture.

I placed the tops of the rolls over the cheese.

Then I covered the sliders with aluminum foil.

I placed the pan in the oven and baked the sliders for 12 minutes.

While the sliders were in the oven, I melted some butter in the microwave.

Then I added some garlic powder and onion powder to the melted butter.

I stirred the spices and melted butter together well.

I removed the sliders from the oven after 12 minutes and removed the aluminum foil.

Then I brushed the seasoned melted butter on the tops of the slider buns.

I sprinkled some sesame seeds on the top.

Then I returned the sliders to the oven uncovered.

I continued baking the sliders until the tops were nicely browned.

Then I removed the sliders from the oven.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make these Cheeseburger Sliders:

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef

  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

How to Make Cheeseburger Sliders:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Dump the ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the diced onions to the pan with the ground beef.
  4. Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
  5. One the ground beef is fully cooked, reduce the heat to low and drain the grease from the pan.
  6. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard and mayo to the pan.
  7. Stir until all of the ground beef is coated in the seasonings and condiments.
  8. Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally.
  9. Place the bottoms of the rolls on a non stick baking sheet.
  10. Scoop the ground beef mixture onto the dinner rolls and spread it out evenly.
  11. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the ground beef.
  12. Place the tops over the dinner rolls over the cheese.
  13. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil.
  14. Place the pan in the oven and bake the sliders for 12 minutes.
  15. While the sliders are in the oven, add the garlic powder and onion powder to the melted butter and stir well.
  16. Remove the sliders from the oven after 12 minutes and take off the aluminum foil.
  17. Brush the seasoned butter on the tops of the buns.
  18. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the butter.
  19. Return the pan to the oven and bake the sliders uncovered until they are nicely browned on top. 8 – 10 minutes.
  20. Remove the sliders from the oven and serve them immediately.
