To make these sliders, I started by pouring some marinara sauce into a large saucepan over medium heat.

I added some frozen Italian style meatballs to the pan.

I stirred until all of the meatballs were coated in sauce.

I covered the pot and left the meatballs to continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs were heated through.

I sliced the dinner rolls open and placed the bottoms on a parchment lined baking sheet.

I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on the buns.

Then I spooned three meatballs and some marinara sauce onto each bun.

I sprinkled more shredded mozzarella cheese and some parmesan cheese on top of the meatballs.

Then I placed the top buns over the cheese.

I brushed the tops of the buns with melted butter.

Then I sprinkled some Italian seasoning on the buns.

I covered the sliders with aluminum foil.

Then I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the sliders until the buns were nicely toasted and the cheese was completely melted.

I removed the baking sheet from the oven and removed the foil from the sliders.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make These Meatball Sliders:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 36 frozen Italian style meatballs
  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

How to Make Meatball Sliders:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Pour the marinara sauce into a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the frozen meatballs to the pot and stir until they are all coated in sauce.
  4. Cover the pot and continue cooking the meatballs, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through. 10-15 minutes.
  5. Slice the dinner rolls open and place the bottom buns on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the buns.
  7. Spoon 3 meatballs and some marinara sauce onto each of the buns.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella.
  10. Place the top buns over the cheese.
  11. Brush the melted butter on the tops of the buns.
  12. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top of the buns.
  13. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil.
  14. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the sliders until the buns are nicely toasted and the cheese is completely melted. 19 – 22 minutes.
  15. Remove the pan from the oven and lift off the foil.
  16. Serve and enjoy!
