To make this meatloaf casserole, I started by dumping some lean ground beef into a large mixing bowl.
Then I added some Italian bread crumbs, Lipton onion soup mix and condensed cream of mushroom soup to the bowl.
I used my hands to combine all of the ingredients well.
Then I pressed the ground beef mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
I dumped some ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder into a mixing bowl.
I stirred the ingredients together well.
Then I poured the sauce mixture on top of the ground beef and spread it out evenly.
I place the dish in the oven and baked the meatloaf for 30 minutes.
While the meatloaf was in the oven, I poured some water and butter into a large pot on the stove.
I brought the water to a boil.
Once the water was boiling, I removed the pot from the heat and added two boxes of stove top stuffing mix to the water.
I stirred well, covered the pot and set it aside.
I pulled the meatloaf out of the oven at the 30 minute mark.
Then I fluffed the stuffing with a fork and sprinkled it on top of the meatloaf.
I returned the dish to the oven for an additional 15 minutes to continue cooking.
Then I removed the casserole from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
