To make this casserole, I started by chopping some sliced deli roast beef into one inch squares and placing them in a mixing bowl.
I added some condensed cheddar soup to the bowl.
I also added some ketchup, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder and garlic powder to the bowl.
I stirred until all of the ingredients were well combined.
I added some French’s crispy fried onions to the bowl.
I also added some shredded cheddar cheese.
I stirred well again.
I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
I poured the roast beef mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
I placed frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the roast beef mixture.
I placed the dish in the oven and baked it for 35 minutes.
After 35 minutes I removed the dish from the oven.
I sprinkled shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
I returned the dish to the oven and continued baking until the cheese was melted and starting to brown.
I removed the dish from the oven and allowed the casserole to rest for a few minutes.
Then the beef and cheddar casserole was ready to serve.
