To make this turkey pot pie, I started by dumping some butter into an oven safe skillet over medium-high heat.

I added some diced onions to the skillet with the butter.

Then I added some frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet.

Then I added some water and turkey gravy mix to the skillet.

I stirred well and continued cooking until the liquid in the pan was bubbling and starting to thicken.

I reduced the heat to medium-low and added a can of condensed cream of chicken soup to the skillet.

I stirred until all of the ingredients were fully combined.

Then I added some salt, pepper and ground sage to the skillet.

I stirred well again.

I added some cooked, shredded turkey to the skillet.

I stirred until all of the turkey was coated in sauce.

I left the mixture to simmer for a few minutes.

Then I removed the skillet from the heat.

I placed some refrigerator biscuits on top of the turkey mixture in the skillet.

Then I placed the skillet in the oven and baked the turkey pot pie until it was bubbling and the biscuits were nicely browned on top.

I removed the turkey pot pie from the oven.

  9. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cream of chicken soup to the skillet.
  10. Stir well.
  11. Add the salt, pepper and sage to the skillet and stir well again.
  12. Add the turkey to the skillet and stir until all of the turkey is coated in the soup mixture.
  13. Simmer for 4 minutes then remove the pan from the heat.
  14. Place the raw biscuits on top of the turkey mixture.
  15. Place the skillet in the oven and bake until the turkey mixture is bubbling and the biscuits are nicely browned on top. 12 – 14 minutes.
  16. Allow the turkey pot pie to sit for a couple minutes.
