To make these mini pigs in a blanket, I started by patting some cocktail sausages dry with paper towel and setting them aside.
I unrolled a package of Pillsbury crescent dough and divided it into the eight triangles.
I cut each triangle lengthwise into three even strips so that I had a total of 24 strips of crescent dough.
I wrapped each of the cocktail sausages in a strip of dough.
I brushed the dough with beaten egg.
Then I sprinkled some everything bagel seasoning on top.
I placed the pigs in a blanket in the basket of my preheated air fryer making sure that none of them were touching.
Due to the size of my air fryer basket I had to cook my pigs in a blanket in two batches.
I cooked the pigs in a blanket until they were golden brown.
Then I transferred the mini sausages to a serving plate.
These pigs in a blanket can be served with a variety of dipping sauces.

Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. Reheat in the air fryer at 300 degrees F for 3-4 minutes.
- The pigs in a blanket can be assembled up to 24 hours before air frying. Place the piggies in a single layer on a baking tray or plate, cover well with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to air fry. Do not add the egg wash or seasoning until just before air frying.
- Place any uncooked sausages in the refrigerator between cooking the batches.
- If you cannot find cocktail sausages you can you hotdogs instead. Just cut eat hotdog into thirds and assemble as instructed above.
- Sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or granulated garlic can be used in place of the everything bagel seasoning, or leave them plain.
- Patting the cocktail sausages helps remove excess moisture and prevents the dough from getting soggy in the middle when cooked.
- Cutting the crescent roll dough is easiest with a pizza cutter on a cutting board. If you do not have a pizza cutter a long sharp knife will work fine.
- I used a 7qt air fryer to make my pigs in a blanket. I was able to fit 12 piggies comfortably in the basket allowing me to cook them all in two batches.
