To make this turkey chowder, I started by adding some chopped bacon to a large soup pot over medium-high heat.

I added some chicken broth to the pot.

I whisked well until the liquid started to thicken.

Then I added some light cream to the pot.

I also added some salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to the pot.

I whisked the spices into the soup.

Then I added some frozen corn kernels to the pot.

I stirred the corn into the soup.

I added the cooked bacon to the pot along with some shredded turkey.

Then I reduced the heat to medium-low and left the soup to simmer for fifteen minutes, stirring occasionally.
