To make this Buffalo chicken macaroni, I started by cooking some frozen popcorn chicken according to the directions on the package.
Then I poured some water and heavy cream into a large pot on the stove.
I brought the water and cream to a boil.
Once the liquid was boiling, I added some macaroni noodles to the pot.
I stirred until all of the macaroni noodles were submerged in the liquid.
Then I placed a lid on the pot and reduced the heat to medium-low.
I left the macaroni to cook, stirring occasionally, for ten minutes.
After ten minutes, I removed the lid from the pot and stirred well.
Then I added some condensed cheddar cheese soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to the pot.
I stirred until all of the ingredients were fully combined.
Then I added some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pot.
I stirred well again.
Then I poured the macaroni and cheese into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
I sprinkled the cooked popcorn chicken on top of the macaroni and cheese.
Then I poured some Buffalo sauce over the chicken.
I drizzled ranch dressing on top of the Buffalo sauce.
Then I sprinkled some more shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
I placed the dish in the oven and baked the pasta until the cheese on top was completely melted and just starting to brown around the edges.
Then I removed the dish from the oven and left the macaroni to sit for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
This creamy pasta is packed with flavour.
I used mild Buffalo sauce for this recipe but you could use hot if want more heat.
