To make this green bean casserole, I started by draining two cans of French cut green beans and cubing some Velveeta cheese.

I brought a large pot of water to a boil.

I added the green beans to the boiling water and blanched them for a few minutes.

Then I drained the beans and seasoned them with salt and pepper.

I added some cream of mushroom soup, milk, Velveeta cheese cubes, garlic powder, and onion powder to a saucepan over medium-low heat.

I stirred until the cheese was melted and the mixture was smooth.

Then I added salt and pepper to the mixture.

I added the green beans to the saucepan.

I stirred until the beans were well coated in the sauce.

I poured the mixture into a medium sized casserole dish and spread it out evenly.

Then I sprinkled some shredded cheddar cheese over the top.

I sprinkled some French’s crispy fried onions on top of the cheese.

I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole until it was heated through and the topping was golden and crispy.
