What should I serve with Hamburger Steak?

Hamburger steak, also known as Salisbury steak, is a hearty dish that pairs well with a variety of sides. Here are some popular options:

  1. Mashed Potatoes: Creamy mashed potatoes are a classic accompaniment to hamburger steak. They complement the savory flavors of the meat and can soak up any gravy you might serve with the steak.
  2. Roasted Vegetables: Roasted vegetables like potatoes, carrots, and Brussels sprouts offer a rich, caramelized flavor that pairs nicely with the savory taste of hamburger steak.
  3. Rice: White or brown rice can be a simple yet satisfying side dish for hamburger steak. It’s versatile and can soak up any sauces or gravies you serve with the meat.
  4. Salad: A crisp green salad with fresh vegetables and a tangy vinaigrette can provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the hamburger steak.
  5. Bread or Rolls: Serve some crusty bread or dinner rolls on the side to sop up any juices or gravy from the steak.
