To make this dish, I started by cooking some store bought refrigerated tortellini according to the directions on the package.
I drained the tortellini and set it aside.
Then I added some butter to a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the butter was melted I added some minced garlic to the skillet.
I also added some Italian seasoning to the skillet.
Then I stirred well and cooked the garlic and seasoning for a couple minutes.
I added some heavy cream to the skillet.
I also added some salt and pepper.
I stirred well.
I left the sauce to simmer, stirring frequently, until it had thickened.
Then I added the cooked tortellini to the skillet.
I stirred until all of the tortellini was well coated in sauce.
Then I removed the skillet from the heat and added some shredded parmesan cheese.
I stirred until the cheese was melted.
I sprinkled some fresh chopped parsley on top.
Then the tortellini alfredo was ready to serve.
