To make this Philly cheese steak pasta, I started by setting my Instant Pot to Saute Less for 7 minutes and spraying the inside of the pot with cooking spray.
I dumped a pound of lean ground beef into the pot.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
When the Instant Pot turned off the ground beef was still slightly pink.
I poured some condensed beef broth and water into the pot with the ground beef.
Then I added some salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to the pot.
I added some macaroni noodles to the pot.
Then I stirred until the macaroni noodles were all submerged in the liquid.
I dumped some condensed cream of mushroom soup into the pot.
Then I added some diced green peppers, diced onions and sliced mushrooms to the pot.
I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 1 minute.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release handle to the venting position and performed a quick release.
Then I removed the lid from the pot.
I stirred the contents well.
Then I added some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pot.
I stirred until the cheese was melted.
Then the Philly cheese steak macaroni was ready to scoop and serve.
After scooping the pasta onto plates, I sprinkled some more shredded cheese on top.
This flavourful ground beef macaroni is the perfect comfort food.
This recipe was tested in an 8 quart Instant Pot Duo.
